get a load of (someone or something) … ～をよく見る、よく聞く … used to tell someone to pay attention to a person or thing that is interesting, surprising, or attractive 映画「フォレスト・ガンプ/一期一会」に出てきた表現。しばしば命令形で、なにか面白いものや珍しいものに驚いたり感心したりして、「見てみろよ、すごいぞ！」のような感じで使うらしい。 《例文》 Hey!
