先日、英語字幕をリアルタイムで表示するよりも、2秒遅れで表示するほうがリスニングの練習に効果的という話を書きました。前回はニュース動画でしたが、今回はテレビドラマを使ってみます。 まず、リアルタイム字幕の動画です（字幕が表示されないときは、プレーヤーの右下の字幕ボタンをクリックしてください）。 次に、2秒遅れの字幕の動画です。 まず字幕なしでセリフが始まり、うまく聞き取れなかったところを2秒後の字幕で確認できるという点では、リスニングの練習に一定の効果があるかもしれません。ただ、このような2秒遅れの字幕の動画を作るにはそれなりに手間がかかるし、一般のDVDなどで字幕を遅延表示できるプレーヤーも限られているので、私個人としてはリアルタイム字幕の動画を使うか、字幕なしの動画とスクリプトを使うほうが良いと思いました。 2回にわたって英語字幕の実験を行い、私には合わない方法でしたが、この方法で効果を感じられる方もいるでしょう。そのような方は、ぜひ実践してみてください。
