First Blood (David Morrell)

4月20日に読了。シルベスター・スタローン主演の映画「ランボー」の原作本。この長さの洋書を最後まで読んだのは、おそらく初めて。集中的に読む時期と、手にも取らない時期を繰り返して、半年ぐらいかかって読んだ。大まかなストーリーの流れを映画で知っていたから、これほど時間がかかっても読み通せたのだと思う。

I finished reading this book on April 20. This is the original novel of the movie "First Blood" starring Sylvester Stallone (the movie is called "Rambo" in Japan). I think this is the first time for me to go through a book of this length. I had been alternating between reading it intensively and not even picking it up from my desk for about six months. I guess the reason why I was able to read through the book for that long period was because I knew the broad plot of the movie.
