上記のような表現を使って否定文を強調する場合、元の文とは語順が変わることに注意。

We cannot allow this to continue.
            ↓
Under no circumstances can we allow this to continue.

We will not admit anyone under 18.
            ↓
On no account will we admit anyone under 18.

            ↓
Never before have we spent so much.
